In November 2017 Helan Turbines Co., Ltd. took part in grand opening of the 19th China International Industry Fair. Within more than 2500 exhibitors Helan Turbines successfully presented its originally developed small power gas turbine unit featured of latest energy saving and environmental protection equipment which is fully consistent to main theme of the fair – «Innovation, Intelligence and Green Technology».
According to
National Program for Medium and Long-term Scientific and Technological
development (2006-2020) in the energy sector, the main focus was pointed on
providing of technological breakthrough in fossil fuel-based micro gas turbine
engines, combined heating and power systems and others. National Development
and Reform Commission and other four relevant ministries released Guidance
Document on Natural Gas Development for Distributed Generation. Development of
gas turbines for distributed generation should be implemented before 2020.
Government 13th Five-Year Plan which Includes 100 Important Large-Scale Project
declared that: based on the plan of energy distribution for Shanghai, Shanghai
Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences should increase the
speed of development and industrial release for 1-2 MW gas turbine engines.
Following the released government plans, Helan Turbines Co., Ltd. is committed
to design, develop and manufacture gas turbine engines with completely
independent intellectual property rights based on advanced standards, in order
to become world-class vendor in the field of turbomachinery. In the next three
years the company plans to train and maintain a team of experts that will be
capable of implementing necessary experimental and research work in the field
of turbomachinery and gas turbine engines, actively carry out technological
innovation, perform reconstruction and overcome any difficulty faced during
product development.
Since 2015, Helan Turbines Co., Ltd. has received 14 utility model patents and 1 patent on appearance. Annual Industrial Fair allows the company to learn practically developed standards on innovation creation. Such events motivate the company not only to witness, describe and accept the reality, but also create history and produce products useful for people and country.
