Science and technology have made major changes to the way we live. The flow of productivity determines economic development and social prosperity. Four innovation unions, led by enterprises, supported by universities, and cooperated between members, was founded in Chengdu on August 26. These innovation unions are intended to accelerate scientific and technological innovation and increase the productivity.
These four unions are “innovation union of advanced power equipment development”, “innovation union of medium and small-scale gas turbine for nature gas or hydrogen application”, “innovation union of offshore wind power generation development”, and “innovation union of hydrogen energy and fuel cell technology”.
Helan Turbines, a technology provider and equipment manufacture, became a member of the “innovation union of advanced power equipment development” and the “innovation union of medium and small-scale gas turbine for nature gas or hydrogen application”.
Industrial leaders, experts, and professors from sixteen universities, eight scientific research institutions, four certificate authorities, twenty-two state-owned enterprises took part in the meeting and witnessed the establishment of these four innovation unions. Considering the coronavirus epidemic, a considerable number of representatives attended the establishment meeting through the video.
Helan Turbines signed the cooperation agreement with fifty-one organizations in the innovation union of advanced power equipment development. The union is intended to research common technologies of pivotal parts and critical materials for medium and small-scale gas turbines. In order to meet the increasing domestic and international demand, the union plans to convert research outcomes to engineering applications with international advanced level.
Helan Turbines signed the cooperation agreement with seventeen organizations in the innovation union of medium and small-scale gas turbine for nature gas or hydrogen application. Organizations in the union will work together to integrate the resource and share the advantages with each other, focusing on critical parts manufacturing. The innovation union serves as an incubator for innovative technologies, benefiting the development of the green power industry in the future.
